I can't believe that Dec has passed in a flash and will be over in a few days. So many events have happened that I wonder how to start penning them down...
8 Dec
I was glad that baby was "fully cooperative'' at the gynae.Yes, Vivian's tactics worked!
Baby opened her legs real wide to show us that she's a girl! Hah, we were so happy and broke into smiles in the scan room. This was a real gift for Daddy Iain as he had been pretty stressed with his exams preparation recently and it was a nice rewarding trip for him to the gynae. (Even though he lugged his notes along as well!)
16 Dec
Visited baby Jodie and Jenny at TMC. Even though Baby Jodie was asleep in the nursery, she looked so cute. Simply loved her big eyes and pretty red lips :D
week of mid Dec
I had the worst week at work as I was literally "dragged into the waters" by my sup everytime we see our bosses...it's almost like I'm on the verge of keeping a log book of the number of times we get scoldings from the D and CEO cos of his stubborness and pride...sigh, there must be a reason why I'm at NVPC...If it's not about the job, it must be about training me to be a more patient and forgiving person!

The fateful day has happened again!
Our stupid car was "engulfed" in smoke when the valet drove it out to the hotel lobby after a wedding dinner. As I was alone to receive the car, I almost wanted to exclaim "what again?!" I almost lost my patience and wanted to give the car a good kick. Then the nice valet man tried to help me check what was wrong with the car. In the end, we decided to leave the car at Shang and returned home to sleep. I think the pregnancy hormones kicked up a storm in me, I was so angry with the car that I couldn't even sleep that night. It was like if the car was human, I would have strangled it to death...Told myself this is the last time that I have to tow this car away. I had enough.I just sent in this car for a check in the morning and they told me it's completely safe to drive back?!?
26 Dec
The Opel service guy called and I gave him a good "suaning". They promised me to investigate it properly and I just acted like a total bitch. Sigh, I don't even have such problems managing my dad's mitsubishi...this is so painful..
27 Dec
Found out that my MIL maid tried to "steal" the lovely blue scarf that Viv gave me. She didn't return me after it was accidentally packed away to my MIL's place. It's so horrid. First, I lost my clothes, now the scarf. Good thing I remembered it and reminded my MIL to get it back for me. Now I simply refused to let anyone take my clothes away for washing, despite the fact that I still get "suaned" by my MIL for doing these "lowly tasks" myself. Well, who cares? I don't mind doing my own laundry as long as I know I won't have anymore missing stuff.
29 Dec
I'm now looking forward to my long weekend of rest after the car saga over the Christmas period.Really glad too that I've learnt to put my foot down on many things esp. with my MIL. To be fair, she's a nice and helpful lady. But sometimes, she really crosses the boundaries and tries to manage every aspect of our lives. From trying to call the bank to check on our car loan to deciding who we should sell our Opel to.SIGH! This evening, she told a prospective car sales guy that we were not selling the Opel to him (even though we may get a new car from this guy) cos she's selling it to her friend = another sales guy. Both Iain and I got a rude shock and almost lost our patience with her. But I guess she got the message very clear cos we "interrogated" her at length until she "changed" her lines....she has to learn to draw her boundaries soon or I won't be that nicey daughter-in-law when baby comes :P
