Missing the blooms

After the nauseous spell over the last few evenings, I was glad that I could "steal" some food from Iain's dinner plate - my favourite fried prawn fritters. This is my 12th week and I really can't wait to lay my hands on those fried chicken wings and nasi lemak...and the roti prata at Ghim Moh market.

Well, food aside. I was quite sad to see the sorry state of my beautiful flowers just now.All my "darlings" are pretty dried up now as I'm too tired to pull the hose and water them daily. When my MIL told me that the gardener had cut off most of my half-dying hibiscus plants, I wished I could do more to nurse them back to health. But the gardener assured me that the plant would grow back to its "former glory" IF I water them daily.Anyway, I will try my best since I'll be in my second trimester soon. Which means I'll have more energy to spend time in the garden for the next 3 months, and after that, maybe I should consider putting them up for adoption...

Really miss those lovely blooms in the garden...

The one and only sunflower...
