Taking a day at a time

Dear Baby

This is mummy's second week of MC... it feels strange that all the frantic activities in my worklife have to come to a sudden slowdown now. But I believe it is for a good reason. Maybe mummy has over-exerted myself over the last month, thus now my body is revolting for a good rest.

Mummy and Daddy are keeping our fingers crossed that Mummy's blood count will go up by this Sat when we see Dr Chan...if not, Mummy is going to the hospital for a transfusion.Sigh, this is definitely not something that Mummy is looking forward to...

This morning, Daddy and I woke up at 5.30am to take a test-tube of blood and rushed it to Uncle George's place so that he can send it to the lab for us. Hopefully, the test will show that the anemia is due to normal iron deficiency rather than Thal Minor (cos that may mean a transfusion could inevitable)

Now, Mummy feels really nauseous and giddy....despite chomping down a mushroom Swiss burger (my only indulgence this week, apart from the liver and beef soups that I've been taking). Looks like Mummy will have to hit the pillows and rest soon...
